@camel_toad You weren't impressed with the jump from 480p to 720/1080p but are amazed at the difference from PS3 to PS4 so far?
I want to watch the same videos you have been watching. Could you send me some links?
Sony did not get Blizzard to create console games. Blizzard has had a working console version of Diablo 3 for months if not years, they have said it themselves on multiple occasions. I would put money on this not being exclusive either. Activision/Blizzard has no desire to alienate Microsoft who have been their bread and butter for years.
Not for this man's hands.
I used to love the Dualshock with the PS1 and even for awhile with the PS2 but now that I am fully grown my hands are to big for the controller and I start to cramp with long playing sessions. If they made a Dualshock XL, redesigned the triggers and gave me inverted analog sticks I would say it was the perfect controller.
Maybe next console gen after the Xbox3/PS4 they can get away with requiring always online but they will be alienating WAY to many potential customers who
1) don't have broadband
2) don't have wifi or internet reaching every room where the console might be played
It will not happen but if it did I would also not be getting it out of principle.
@cee773 True you can run it at pc's native resolution but most android devices don't have screens capable of running most gaming PC's native resolutions.
Also most android devices don't have the ability to have HDMI out as well as keyboard/mouse or gamepad connectivity.
Basically if you have $500 to shell out for the TF700 then you don't need to worry about Nvidia's device. If the device debuts for $250 or less which I feel it has to y...
Splashtop on an android device isn't the best example because 1) it has to dumb down the resolution and 2) the input devices aren't always designed from the ground up for your device.
I don't see this being that big though. To tap its full potential you need a nice gaming rig and the desire to play in other rooms. I personally already have this as I have my PC in my mancave connected to my A/V receiver which is also connected to my living room. My 360 remote...
Correction, $60 if you buy from Microsoft. $30-40 if you have a little patience and wait for a deal to come around.
This gen I have mostly played PC and 360. I also have a PS3 and had a Wii (gave it to my nephew.) I am in the boat most others are though in that I will probably skip the NextBox if Microsoft doesn't add a lot more value to Live. PS+ has made Live look like a waste of money.
2 months later....
You never actually liked cod...but 1 and 2 were awesome? What is this I don't even...
Both discs are online now. I just checked usenet.
No SD card slot.
@TheGreatIndonesia
If using trends of past systems to predict future system sales you could say PS2 outsold Xbox by a huge margin. PS3 and 360 are neck and neck. Based on these 2 facts 720 will outsell PS4 by a huge margin.
Of course this is all speculative BS but as long as we are pulling crap out of the air might as well have the poo fling both ways.
This is N4G. Do you really need to ask that question? Understanding the mind of a fanboy is like understanding the meaning of life. Few will ever achieve that while alive on this Earth.
@EeJLP
I just checked out http://factsvsfanboys.com/ and that site it so biased toward the PS3 its funny.
That site does everything it can to exclude top 360 games for reasons like "well Live Arcade games are basically HD PS1 games" but they include PS2 HD remakes in the list. It makes me LMAO that someone would buy that domain and take the time to keep it running just to spew their "anti 36...
Obviously the writer of this article never played Top Gun on NES.
Bully came out on Xbox 360. You could probably find it used for less than $15.
Firefox or Chrome + Addblock = win
So you were the person that liked it. I remember reading about you back in '96.
I wasn't sure about the next Xbox but I really liked their conference. Also Titanfall gameplay looks amazing. Graphics were ok to good but the gameplay looks like it could be very addicting and strategical. CoD killer? Only time will tell.
